This act was an expression of gratitude toward his homeland and a significant contribution to preserving the religious and cultural heritage of the area. The monastery operates under the care of the Holy Metropolis of Sisani and Siatista, and today it is home to a monastic brotherhood devoted to liturgical life and the hospitality of visitors.
The feast of Agios Panteleimon is celebrated every year on July 27, a day when the monastery fills with the faithful from all over Greece who come to honor the Agios and seek his grace and blessing.
